- Nitrous oxide sedation – Nitrous oxide, also called “happy gas,” is a short-acting sedative that relaxes patients during their procedure. This mild form of sedation leaves the system quickly after the procedure so you can even drive yourself home without feeling groggy or tired. Nitrous oxide is very safe, and we even use it on children when needed.
- Oral sedation dentistry – Oral sedation helps patients relax while in our care. Before we prescribe medication, we must review your complete medical history to determine which medication is safest for you. Oral sedation can last for several hours, so you will need someone to drive you home from your appointment.
