Technology

Our commitment to continuing education and the latest technology available in modern dentistry is an important part of our dedication to delivering the highest level of dental care possible. You will find many of the latest technologies that modern dentistry offers listed here.

We are continually updating the office with new equipment and services to make your dental care more comfortable and accurate.

3-D Cone Beam Imaging

3-D cone beam (Sirona) is a remarkable technology for complete treatment planning. It creates a three-dimensional image so that your dentist can easily view your face, jaw, and teeth. It’s an invaluable tool for diagnosing and virtual treatment planning, and the images take less than ten seconds to acquire.

We use 3-D imaging for accurate dental implant placement and restoration, TMJ treatment, and extractions.

Intraoral Camera

Our intraoral camera captures crisp, instant photos of individual teeth and oral areas for patients and dentists to review together. This helps our patients understand their conditions and choose an option to restore their dental health based on that understanding. We also take intraoral photos to send to insurance companies when they request additional information to pay a claim. These photos are saved in your electronic file for comparison of dental conditions, as they may change over time.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

Eligible patients no longer have to wait weeks for their final bridge or crown. We can complete restorative treatment in a single visit with CAD/CAM CEREC technology. By digitally scanning the tooth or teeth, we can upload the information into our software, which then transfers it to our in-office milling machine to fabricate ceramic restorations, much like a 3-D printer.

CEREC produces beautiful, natural-looking restorations that are strong and durable, lasting you for many years to come.

Digital Dental X-Rays

Digital x-rays reduce radiation by 90 percent, provide instant viewing on your chairside monitor, and produce the highest resolution images available today.

X-rays are an essential part of an accurate diagnosis. We recommend routine X-rays to identify dental decay and other conditions in their earliest stages when they are easier to treat.

Solea Dental Laser

Solea is an advanced new dental laser technology that is virtually replacing the needle, drill, and scalpel in the dental office. Solea can accommodate patients of all ages and procedures of all kinds, without the need for an anesthetic in most cases.
